The Eifel:

The “Hotel Schoos” is embedded in the beautiful Eifel. With its´ pleasant climate, it offers you a multi-facetted landscape of forests and moors.

There are several hiking and biking paths starting close to our hotel. The closest biking trail starts within a distance of 500 meters from the hotel.

The diversity of nature will be impressive, no matter whether you make the trip in spring, summer, autumn or winter.

The “Way of St. James” (Camino de Santiago) passes by the hotel within 3km (in Büdesheim and Rommersheim) walking distance.

The central location:

Our centrally located hotel enables you to discover the surroundings easily, which offer you a variety of attractions.

Plan a shopping trip to Prüm (5km), where you can visit the old basilica and the grave of “Kaiser Lothar”, take a trip to Germany´s oldest town Trier (60km), or the Dauner Maare which is a made up of a number of lakes originating from volcanoes (40km).

Similarly, the well-known Formula 1 race track Nürburgring, as well as Luxembourg are within a distance of 50 kilometers.

Our young guests surely will love the Eifel Zoo in Lünebach (15km), the wildlife and action parks Kasselburg (20km) and Gondorf.
